She loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren to whom she was affectionately known as Gransam. She loved her family genealogy and heirlooms from the past, and had just signed her Mayflower Society application on August 8, 2021. As a child, Elizabeth, her mother and her five siblings traveled on a flat boat down the Cumberland from Jackson Co. to Old Hickory, TN. Elizabeth was also preceded in death by her husband of 60yrs., Edward S. Lane; two sons, Ray and Eddie Lane; three grandsons, Mark, Darrell and Ben Lane; and her five siblings.
