Im not surprised how well its doing and what it means for book sales because I think we all kind of want that personal recommendation. Im like, exactly what happens after that last scene and Malice, but it starts like a few months after, Alices big thing that she does at the end, and she meets a new character, and they decide that theyre going to kind of form this court of creatures just like them. But its also true that those big extreme reactions like that often stem from love. Like, be what it is. They can turn almost any bit of rock, wood, or material into a feast. We learned of binding curses in the Vila books, and I could have unwittingly initiated one anytime the kestrel nipped me hard enough to draw blood, allowing my magic to enter her body. But obviously, theres so many other layers on here. I'd give this 3.5 and I'm mad about it. Between rose and Alyce there was even some hope there. One Sentence Summary: A century has passed since the events of the first book and Alyce now rules the Dark Court, but, as they decimate the Fae Courts, Aurora .
